Food Cupboard
1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month: Noon - 1:30pm. 3rd Saturday of the month: 10:00am - 11:00am. 4th Monday of the month: 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Our Food Cupboard is now a Full Choice Pantry. Now our pantry families "shop" for all their items in the new choice area of the pantry at the back of the sanctuary. Each person gets a shopping card, based on how many people are in their household. The card lists how many items they may choose from each shelf. The shelves are organized as fruits and juices; vegetables, beans, and canned tomatoes; canned meat; pasta, grains and rice; breakfast items; soups, beverages and baking items; and a miscellaneous table. A pantry volunteer walks through with each pantry family to help them with their shopping experience. Our families are delighted with the change.
